Elementary, Watson

I have been promising Nathaniel since Thanksgiving that we would go see a movie together. After receiving some Malco movie coupons for a Christmas gift it was just a matter of picking a time we were both free. Today I picked Bub up from school and we headed to the theatre. We skipped dinner wanting to leave plenty of room for sweets, soda, and popcorn.

It was a lot a fun to go on a date with my little brother. Between his school schedule and my work schedule we haven't been able to spend much time together recently. It was such a treat to have him all to myself and be able to catch up on what was going on in each other's lives. He's so smart and observant I love hearing his opinions and thoughts on life.

We watched Sherlock Holmes (after checking the movie out online beforehand-I'm not going to be a bad influence!) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Bub loved the action, I loved the subtle jokes. We've already set a date for an upcoming movie release: The Lightening Thief. Nathaniel has read the book series and I am currently reading them. Can't wait! This feels like the making of a tradition.
